Right. Enough. Don't ask me to join you, and then mostly ignore me while chatting with brand new boyfriend and other co-worker. What did she expect, I'd hang around until the boyfriend had to leave, presumably then to be informed at long length about the history and details of selfsame boyfriend and other relationship woes? I think not. I left, because occasionally even I have more self-respect than that.


I'm not even sure how much of this is conscious on U.'s part, but it's pretty damn annoying and really rather rude nevertheless. I'm not that desperate for friends (in a very loose meaning of the word) and I'm most definitely not going to get jealous because OMG! she has a boyfriend and I don't.
