Beautiful.
Biking home, the western sky still a faded evening turquoise-blue, a thin sickle moon and almost straight above, very bright, the evening star.



Otherwise, uneventful day. Bought new brakes for my bike and changed them myself, go me. Annoying horse that still sheds like mad, and whichever way I turn (or she turns), I always seem to be standing just right for the wind to blow the hair in my face when I brush her. The horse then being annyoing in entirely different ways.

Warm, though. Sunny. Applied sunscreen for the first time this year, and am still feeling sticky.

Cooked (cooked!) some pseudo-oriental spiced rice/minced meat /tomatoes Auflauf *thing* (whatever this may be called in English, G. still has my German-English dictionary) and a tomato - cucumber salad.
