(no subject)

Walk-with-camera, despite the uninviting weather (cold, icy wind, the odd snowflake) because between work, short daylight hours and Christmas cookies I haven't done this since Salzburg and started to really miss it. And one can still do something with b&w...


There isn't much else to say (or worth writing about); work is stressful, M. and I snipe at each other with increasing frequency (or more to the point, she does that passive-aggressive thing she does, and I explode) but will presumably survive the next week, too, somehow, and I've at least managed to buy presents for my sister and niece last Wednesday. And, at the third attempt, when I'd been very ready to give up and postpone this ordeal and make do with the old one for another year, to find the new anorak that is going to be my present, and it's kind of ridiculous as well as depressing that a woman's large size won't fit. The one I finally bought is a snowboarding anorak for men, but it at least fits and is of a non-ghastly, really nice green colour.

I still wish I could just ignore, or skip, Christmas, as well as avoid the deep dark hole of post-Christmas depression that always waits for me once the stress lets up...
