This is where solitary_summer learns about digital cameras and 4:3 and not to take her photos to a drugstore-chain to print out. I don't pretend to be good at photography, but I usually do try to pay attention to the motif, especially since I don't like to (or can, for the moment) crop pictures afterwards, and to have borders cut off in a way that at least in some cases really messes with the composition is frustrating. At least it's not my money, my mother wants them for her album. I just get to show them around first...
Still, they were the first photos I had developed/printed out, whatever you call it now, and I'm amazed at the quality... it's really not the same, just looking at them on your monitor.
