Oh, I loved that. Brilliant. And very intriguing.
So, who is she? Not a regenerated version of the daughter, or she'd have seen seen him this young. (But she might be lying....)
Not a future version of himself, or there wouldn't be this problem of him not remembering her, and she being hurt by it.
The squareness gun - Jack related? Too obvious? She can't be an incarnation of Jack, surely?! (It would kinda fit the personality, though, the flirting thing, the quip about dating Androids right at the start, 'pretty boy', 'I don't fancy you'...)
- Everything here is long dead.
- Bet your life?
- Always.
Pleasepleaseprettyplease. That'd be so brilliant.
Still though, probably not, because Jack has also seen the Doctor younger. And, 'He hasn't met me yet'. (Or at least not in this form?) *sigh* A daughter of Jack who went travelling with the Doctor? Since we've already had so much procreation this season including a daughter of the Doctor? (Plus... 51st century, and, 'Never doing that again.' Not impossible.)
There's some connection; more than just a random companion from the future.
Okay, that's really far, far out, but after the 'I'd trust that man to the end of the universe - and actually we've been.' Maybe that's just too obvious. Maybe it means nothing. Maybe for whatever reason he went there again. But. That'd be Martha, Jack, or... the Master. Who chose not to regenerate. Hm.
Tragic and extremely heroic death for Donna I'm afraid, the way professor Song reacted to hearing her name, and the whole lack of mentioning what was going to happen in her future. Rose didn't die, or Martha; I suspect someone will have to, eventually.
ETA: Hm. I didn't mention the wife option because that seemed a bit too boringly obvious...
In conclusion, can't wait for next week. :)
