Dead from family birthday that included making the Brandteigkrapferln from hell. Enough said (mostly because I lack the English vocabulary to describe this baking disaster in all its gory vanilla cream-y details). Too much food, too much sugar.

Took a couple of pretty pictures though, so the day wasn't entirely wasted.
