Here I am, innocently shopping for milk for my morning-coffee, and the woman in front of me is buying (raw) chicken legs. *stomach turns* This is most emphatically not something I need to see before breakfast.


Also, I must have sprained something in my lower back yesterday, it hurts like something... rather unpleasant, especially after sitting down for any length of time. Lying, standing & walking seems to be better, as in, mostly painless. Hm.


On the bright side of things, back to work since Monday, and still waiting for the post-holiday depression to strike; instead feeling rather cheerful & relaxed, in any case decidedly un-depressed, most of the time.

Really, my new found equilibrium sometimes scares even me.
