(no subject)

Health update, and dear god, whenever did that become a semi-regular subject?

Got a renewed prescription for the pills & have a blood test scheduled after I return from Madrid. And there'll probably be a gastroscopy too. I have a sort-of phobia of needles and am even less keen on having something pushed down my throat (so pretty please, if you, your friends or relatives had that done, don't share the horror stories?), but at this point the discomfort of constantly feeling less-than-well and the uncertainty outweigh any anxiety about uncomfortable medical procedures. I just want to know what, if anything, is wrong, and be well again.
