Jan. 11th, 2006 10:43 pmNote to self: It is really not advisable to go on a walk with the horse when there's, oh, really a lot of snow. Like, up to your knees. If, however, dear brainless self, you feel, for reasons unknown, irresistibly compelled to do so anyway, at least stick to roads/paths that are at least partly cleared. Also, if at all possible, try to avoid having to go uphill.
Goddamn it, woman, get a brain!
Or, you know, a self-preservation instinct.
Seriously, I thought I wouldn't make it up that last slope. Try walking uphill through at least knee-deep snow at the speed of a normal-sized, homeward-bound horse sometime. She was really cute, though, once she realised I was seriously in trouble. Let me walk behind her and practically dragged me along, and when I started to pant too harshly actually stopped and patiently waited until I was ready to go on again. You know you're in trouble when a horse starts to give you concerned looks.
Ahem. In less stupid news, henna'd my hair and feel rather more human as a result. Cleaned the kitchen, somewhat.
