Managed to pry myself out of bed in time for a morning run; not the wisest decision in view of an eight hours first advent Saturday work day, but god I needed it - last week I'd started to run the hundred meters or so to the bank, under the pretext of being in a hurry or lousy weather.

I wish I'd had a camera; it was stunningly beautiful, quite eerie - at 6:45 just light enough for the outlines of the bare trees to be visible against the sky, and beyond a full yellow moon; the lights of the city outside the park; then a reddish cloud in the east, and all of a sudden it becomes day and the mysterious private mood of dawn is lost.

Tired.
