amazon. idiots... they gave me a € 3.- gift certificate, which of course is basically *a good thing*, only when i add another book ('out of africa') to my harry potter/ootp order to get over the required € 30.- limit, i'm told that i can only use it with new orders. so i try amazon.co.uk, because the book i want isn't availabble on .de except in the very expensive hard cover edition only to be told, oops, sorry again, but i can only use it on .at/.de

i'm reluctant to gratuitously spend € 30.- on books or cds i don't really want only to cash the certificate... considered dvds, only to find out the nin dvd (which im not sure i really, actually, need in the first place, considering that i already have the video) costs 29.99.-. not that i have a dvd player or even a tv right now. babylon 5? on the offchance of maybe being able to watch it at some point next year?
