(no subject)

set out on a mission to buy clothes. apparently there is yet another 60s/70s revival no one warned me of, frills, pseudo ethno and horrible colours abound. does anyone actually wear those shades of orange and brown? just wondering. also, pastels. lots. which i absolutely refuse to wear.

so not tempted to try anything on, i even managed to avoid the customary frustration about size & weight issues. but still. need to loose some weight.

so i ended up with a straight cut dress with some vaguely indian print, that is only moderately girlish, but might need some sort of belt (i think) and a asymmetrical skirt that is basically very cool but maybe not quite so cool on me. might be better when i loose a few kilos. might also be one of those purchases that end up in the closet and never see the light of day again.
