Oh, solitary-summer. These are just stunning. The first one, the dark trunks silhouetted against the blue sky and the light through the golden leaves, the contrast of gold and dark, light and shadow. The second one, the feeling of the trees reaching upwards, the contrast of the dark ground at the bottom and then the light through the trunks and lower leaves and then the dark upper boughs.
