The throat feels pretty much okay again, and never felt that bad to begin with, but apparently in the end *was* rather inflamed. I'm just annoyed that I didn't go earlier and it kind of ruined my long Pfingstwochenende...
Book... the series is interesting and especially the passages where he switches to the POV of the brothers and sisters of the light, who, once they've been awakened, only see the world and human life as an endless circle of meaningless procreation and death and call humans 'Fleischmaschinen' are really disturbing, because you could kind of see how they might come to this conclusion, and at the same time there's the glaring inhumanity of it all... Maybe if I reread it from the start the end will become clearer.
