mission accomplished! :)
Here's a brief recap - no Jack/Ianto kiss, but at the beginning when Jack comes back and Tosh asks him where he'd been Jack says 'I found my doctor' with still a lot of love and vulnerability in his voice, then there's a brief exchange with Owen, and then Ianto asks 'Are you going to go back to him?' rather apprehensively and pretty much expecting a 'yes'. Camera back to Jack - 'I came back for you.' - camera on Ianto, who obviously doesn't know what to make of this or whether to believe it at all - beeaaat - and back to Jack - 'All of you.' - camera on the team.
And there's Jack asking Ianto out on an actual, honest-to-god dinner-&-movie date, Jack being a bit insecure and a lot less smooth than one might expect and Ianto adorably flustered. (clip on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PmWOpjP9Z8))
James Marsters does his variation-of-Spike thing he seems to do in all the guest rolls he's done since Buffy (not that I don't like him, but he does tend to get a bit type-cast...), he's a time agent (as Jack had been), a ghost from Jack's past and the man that Jack could have become if he hadn't met the Doctor and Rose. Jaded, totally amoral, doesn't give a shit about anything (Except maybe Jack, even if he attempts to kill him, and if he doesn't succeed it's not for lack of trying.) He and Jack 'more than go back' they'd been stuck in a time loop once upon a time for something like two weeks/five years, partners 'in every way, and then some' (Captain John's words) and there's still a lot of emotion (and snark!) between them, even if Jack knows that he cannot go back there and be that man again. (As for the rest of the plot - he asks for Jacks help in what turns out to be some kind of con, almost gets the team killed, etc., but it all works out in the end...; it's a very team-y episode.)
And yes, he's hot, although not as much as JB, IMHO. *g* And, yesyesyes, they're very, very hot togehter. ;)
That Kiss (official BBC teaser clip) - and they kind of smooched each other - also on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-v0szrB5nB8) There was a second, quieter, good-bye kiss in the end, where JM did the kissing, which was pretty much all the smooching done in the episode. :)
The whole episode is up on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lwu1iDuctWg), though I don't know for how much longer it'll be; I've seen with other shows that the BBC tends to be pretty fast when it coems to having their content removed. And the quality isn't very good, either...
I love you!

(You know me, I never can resist rambling...)
(I hope you won't be disappointed, though, when you get to see the actual show...)
oh, and...
