[God, I hate that how I can't focus on doing anything productive/creative, because a part of my mind keeps whispering dentistdentistdentist and I can never entirely block, forget or ignore that until I make the call tomorrow morning.]
Saw Corpse Bride yesterday with M. and R., and, if you ignore the fact that the story is pretty thin, it was cute, funny, melancholy, and okay, kinda predictable and sappy, but really cute, and the animation and puppets were truly awesome.
On a side-note, every time I don't understand what a customer is saying I assume that's the result of a too-long history of walkman, concerts, loud music on headphones and what not, but recently, every time I go to a cinema, I leave reassured that my hearing must be above average, after all, because apparently most people don't find this obnoxiously loud. It's bad enough when it's only sound effects, but when you turn music up to the point where you lose the more subtle shades because they just get kind of drowned in the noise... I'm not a particularly musical person, but I found that annoying.
