(no subject)

Slept, read (Buddenbrooks), breakfasted, internet'ed, made my slow, slow way another four pages of my Spanish novel in lieu of actually studying, had lunch, procrastinated some more, practiced belly dancing for an hour or so, had a snack and browsed through some magazines, then did the just-move-to-the-music,-don't-think-about-it thing the therapist suggested on Monday (plus side: easier, more fun and less embarrassing than I expected; down side: had my eyes closed for the longest while to feel a bit less stupid and self-conscious and then jumped around a lot to Getting Smaller, the combination of which my stomach wasn't too happy with). Will probably watch a couple of episodes of Dr. Who (S1 & 2 for birthday, whee...) now, after a dutiful niece call to my aunt.

And feel absolutely uninspired to write any kind of meaningful entry. So. Anything anyone always wanted to ask me, anonymously or otherwise? ;)

Belly dancing - last year a friend of mine came up with the idea, I then had a fairly traumatising semester with a pretty awful teacher ('And now... improvise!'), but we've switched this semester, stared all over again and I'm really kind of enjoying it. Not a natural talent by a long, long way, but I think i might be finally getting the hang of it...

I discovered TM relatively late - early 30ies - and Buddenbrooks was the first novel I read, and it absolutely stunned me. Doktor Faustus has replaced it as a favourite novel of his since, but I still adore it.

Ditto with bells, whistles and knobs on!

Ah, another Doktor Faustus enthusiast! Friend!! :-)

You know, I might! I've looked you up, and anyone who lists Kathryn Janeway, BTVS, Harry Potter, AND any amount of classical music, as personal interests, cannot be all bad. So... may I friend you?

But of course! Will do the same :-)
