On the side of... good? lesser evil annoyance?, the mouse is working again, even if it has ceased to scroll down at all again. And makes weird crack-y noises occasionally. Perhaps I've over-done the alcohol and it'd passed out yesterday? Who knows. In any case, I'll make attempt to return & exchange it tomorrow.

On the side of personal patheticness, I'm not sure I want to know what it says about my life that the most updates in a row in months have been about my mouse malfunctioning.

Long, long day, hence the up & posting at 6 am-ish. Hair to be washed, car (newly equipped with winter tyres) to be fetched from the workshop, Christmas packages to be posted, work to be survived, belly-dance lesson ditto.

::yawn::

You're still dancing? Cool! It's so much fun, isn't it...but not, I must agree, when one's already exhausted.

It is fun and I like it enough to decide to stick with the class for this semester, despite the teacher, and even with her I enjoy when we're actually working on something; it's the 'And now you're free to improvise, there's no right or wrong' part that always, always throws me. I freeze and forget everything I ever knew immediately...

Oh, party dancing always throws me a bit too--it's just that we don't do it so often. And it does get easier with time and practice! It's a bit much to expect you to do it in your first semester of learning, though...

Hope you can find a better teacher next semester, though. Having the right teacher really makes all the difference, I know!
