Health update, ::le sigh:: : Sore throat, not so much for a change but an addition, oh joy. Stomach is still very iffy & I really got the whole range of side effects from one of the pills. I'm really, really hoping things will improve from now on. Got off work earlier - not that I felt all that worse than I'd already done all week, but I the sore throat was the last drop, so fuck being over-conscientious just for once. It's not as if I mightn't have called in sick the whole week with at least some justification. Also told Ch. I wouldn't come this evening, because 1) watching other people eat chocolate fondue when you can't isn't fun, and 2) I'm really, really tired. I just want quiet and home-time and not stories about said people's horses.




1. Where were you 1 hour ago?
Coming up the stairs and unlocking the door, give or take a few minutes.

2. Who will be your next kiss?
I wish I knew. Probably some friend on the cheek in greeting.

3. Is there anything pink within 10 feet of you?
A package of rose incense sticks.

4. When is the last time you went to the mall?
I haven't even figured out yet what the European/Austrian equivalent to a mall would be (SCS?), so ::shrug::.

5. Are you wearing socks right now?
No.

6. Have you been to the movies in the last 5 days?
No.

8. What was the last thing you had to drink?
A glass of water.

9. What are you wearing right now?
Long hippie-type violet skirt with fringes, washed out, large-ish 'Kuss der Spinnenfrau' t-shirt, white slip, all very boring.

10. Have you been in a car wash?
As in, how dirty is our car? It gets washed (for free) when it's at the mechanic for service, tyre change or repair, otherwise not so much. My sister's job includes driving around among vineyards and such, so there's no point to washing the car all that often. Or is this one of these American things, where bikini-clad women wash cars? ::suppressed shudder::

11. Last food you ate?
Semmel, plain yoghurt, banana.

12. Where were you last week on Saturday?
At work. Home. Not feeling too well.

13. Have you bought any clothing items in the last week?
Sandals. Upon checking lj it turns out that this was actually the week before, so, no.

14. When is the last time you ran?
Lj tells me, June 18th. Running really really was not an option this week.

15. What's the last sporting event you watched?
As in, actually watched of my own volition, rather than quickly channelsurfing in & out of some soccer match or watching Formula 1 at my sister's? Figure Skating World Championships, I think.

16. What is your favourite class?
Was. ::feels old:: School - Art. English. I kind of liked biology, too. University - Prof.B.'s lectures & seminars.

17. Your dream vacation?
Nothing specific. I'd like a road-trip someday, if I can find someone to do it with, perhaps through Turkey. Right now, I'd be content with a beautiful beach, a few books & a lot of quiet.

18. Last person's house you were in?
Not counting watering the plants at my parents' place, soavezefiretto's apartment.

67 & 72

A bit.

22. Last play you saw?
God. For someone who has theatre among her interests this is downright embarrassing. It must have been last summer, König Ottokars Glück und Ende.

23. What are/were your plans for today?
Be utterly boring. Relax. Internet, livejournal. read, perhaps watch something on tv or a dvd. Go to bed early and hopefully wake up much improved tomorrow.

24. Who was the last person you were on the phone with?
My sister.

25. Ever go to camp?
Once. There were horses.

26. Were you an honour roll student in school?
Not an American, here... I find the American high-school system (or at least the version that is show in movies and tv series) deeply frightening.

27. What do you want to know about the future?
Nothing, unless the prediction comes with a guarantee that I have the power to change it.

28. Are you wearing any perfume or cologne?
Now? No. Generally, very rarely.

29. Are you hungry?
No

30. Where is your best friend located?
The position is kind of vacant at the moment.

31. Do you have a tan?
The slightest tan on my arms, enough to see the white stripe from my wrist-watch, but otherwise I'm quite pasty.

32. How old do you want to be when you have kids?
Lack of potential father aside, I don't think I'm suited to be a mother, I don't even want the responsibility for a pet.

33. Do you collect anything?
No.

34. Last time you got stopped by a cop or pulled over?
A few weeks ago, for driving without the headlights on (in broad daylight, I might add).

35. Have you ever drank your soda from a straw?
Yes, presumably.

36. How do you like your drinks?
Tasting of something other than sugar.

37. Do you like hot sauce?
Spicy, but not too hot.

38. Last time you took a shower?
This morning.

40. What is your mood?
Tired, but okay-ish. Feeling a little better already, and I've got a two day weekend before me...

I doubt it. No.

Finished - E.M. Forster, The Longest Journey (re-read); current - also E.M.Forster, A Room With A View (also a re-read).
