The HP fandom vs. JKR... I find that vaguely amusing, in a strictly voyeuristic way.

[... *talking to self* I think the problem might be that many people don't quite seem to realise that in JKR's world dark wizards/death eaters more or less equal nazis. Hence her black and white painting, and hence her lack of sympathy, unless a character has truly done something to redeem him/herself. And sometimes the nazi kids just grow up to be nazis. Probably not fair, but that's how it is.]
